Echocardiographics, stress tests

This lecture deals with imaging of human heart by transthoracal and transesophageal ultrasound. After theoretical introduction (which is in czech), follow schemes and also images of common US investigation, Doppler's imaging and contrast-enhanced US.

Among the pathologies, you can see here mitral stenosis, insufficience, aortic stenosis, insufficience, tricuspid valve disease, shunts (atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect), presence of thrombus, vegetations, primary heart tumours, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy; and also an image of artificial valve.

In the final part, using of the stress tests in cardiology is explained.
